BoxNStore.com is the Bakersfield Self Storage planning and enquiry site. You can work out the size you need, list what you own, lay it out in 3D, compare sizes, print an inventory, and send a question or a request to the team that handles it.

It is not a rental checkout. There is no cart and no signature on this site. Every arrangement that costs money, holds a unit, or moves your belongings is decided by the facility team or by a named partner. Nothing you do on this page makes one, and no payment is taken anywhere on this site.

The size guides, the planning tools and the printable inventory work without an account, and so do saving a plan and following a request in this browser. An account carries those past this browser’s 30-day cookie to your other devices.

When you send a request, the site saves it with the context described below, puts it in the queue for the team that handles that kind of work, and shows you its status in My requests. It does not hold a unit, set a price, book a crew, or schedule a delivery.

The actual unit, its availability, its price and your move-in date are decided by the facility team after they read what you sent. Until they send you something back, nothing about your request is an offer.

If the facility team does send an offer, it arrives in My requests with a version number, the unit and size they mean, a price, a move-in date, their own written terms, and a date it stops being open for an answer. Accepting records your answer against that exact version. Accepting is not a payment. Nothing is charged here. Accepting hands your request back to the facility team, who confirm your move-in and handle any payment away from this site.

Online booking and payment are not connected yet, so sending a request here cannot reserve a unit and nothing here takes a payment.

A request records the kind of request, what you typed, the tick that says you want it sent, and the time. If you started from a plan, it also copies a summary of that plan: its name, its version, and for each layout in it that layout’s name and room, plus each item’s name, dimensions, position and whether you placed it. Files are never copied into a request. Photos and documents you added to a plan stay private to you and to the people you explicitly invite to see them.

If you asked to be reached directly, it records your name, the one method you chose, and the single phone number or email address for that method. Only the team handling that request sees it. Choosing a method records the way you asked staff to use. It does not guarantee that anyone contacts you.

Each request goes to one team. Container requests go to the container team, moving help goes to the partner team, and everything else goes to the facility team. A staff member can then reach you using the number or address you gave. That is a person acting, not the site.

You can download your plans, your requests with their contact and source details, and your trips as a single file from My account. Files you uploaded are separate, and incident records export from the incidents page there.

A plan started without an account is unlocked by a cookie kept in that browser for 30 days. Requests and callback details have no automated expiry, and there is no self-service deletion tool on this site. You can ask the team about removal in a support request.

Every size, layout, count and total these tools produce is a planning aid. Example sizes and layouts show what a footprint looks like with ordinary furniture in it. They are not a statement that a unit of that size exists, is free, or costs a particular amount.

The moving supplies list comes from typical per-room counts in packing guides, multiplied by the rooms you enter and by one setting for how full those rooms are. The rent-or-buy worksheet does arithmetic on figures you type in. It supplies no prices of its own, and leaving out the monthly rent, the container quote or the number of months leaves the comparison incomplete. It is not financial advice.

The doorway check and the 3D layout work from whatever measurements are in their fields. The door opening, the unit footprint and each item’s size start as illustrative defaults, so replace them with your own before you rely on the answer.

Suggestions read from a photo are candidates you confirm, never an inventory. None of these tools produces a quote, an appraisal, or advice about insurance, tax or law.

This site publishes only what the owner has approved. Nothing about the business is inferred, estimated, or filled in from somewhere else. Where nothing has been approved yet, the page says so instead of showing a plausible answer. A published policy carries the version and the date it was approved, printed next to it.

That covers addresses, hours, gate access, this facility’s own unit sizes and measurements, availability, prices, deposits, insurance requirements, and what may or may not be stored. The size guides elsewhere on this site are generic footprints, not units here. Ask the facility team for any of these, and treat anything you read about this business elsewhere as unconfirmed until it appears here or comes from the team.

When measurement is on, visiting a public page here may set one signed cookie in your browser for 30 days. It holds the first recordable public page you opened here, the hostname that referred you, short source labels taken from a utm_source, utm_medium or utm_campaign in the address, and a yes or no for whether an advertising click identifier was present. It never holds the identifier itself, the full address you arrived on, an IP address, or anything you typed.

Your browser sends the cookie back to this site on every page request, and this site only reads it to decide whether to leave it alone. It is copied into a request only at the moment you save one, and then only into that request. It is never sent to an advertising or analytics platform. No page on this site reports website visits, because a visit to a page is never recorded.

Reading this page counts, because it is one of the public pages measurement covers. Find my size, Get started and the review form are public too, and are deliberately never recorded.

There are two ways it is off. Your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, in which case measurement is off here and no choice can turn it back on. Or you choose Off under Privacy choices, which stops future capture and clears this browser’s first-touch cookie. Turning measurement off does not erase source information already copied into a request you saved.
