Bakersfield Self Storage and Payless Mini Storage are each a BoxNStore location, and each keeps its own name and team. BoxNStore brings them together on one website.

What happens after you press send
A request is a message to the team, with your plan if you add one. It is not a booking.
It goes on the team’s to-do list. You will see one of these: Waiting for the team, The team is reviewing, Needs your answer, The team responded, and last, Closed. If you add a reply, it goes back to Waiting for the team.
The answer comes back on this site, in My requests, right under the question you asked, so both stay in one place.
Sending a request does not hold a unit, set a price or charge you. The person who answers tells you what is available, which unit and the price.
Online booking and payment are not set up yet, so sending a request cannot reserve a unit, and nothing here takes a payment.
How your request reaches the team
When you send a request, we email the BoxNStore team your question, how to reach you and the plan summary you chose to share. Those details also go into the team’s private Google Sheet so they can follow up. Your other plans, photos and documents stay private.
Your account has update settings, and every topic starts off. This site does not send emails or texts to customers yet. When something happens you would want to know, the site writes the update into a list you can read in My account, with its subject, email or text, and date. Each one is marked Held, not sent yet, or Not sent, this topic is off.
If you use Find my size, an AI tool on our hosting service reads your photo or what you type during that one request, to turn it into an item list. Nothing from it is saved: not to our database, our file storage or a log.
This site has no ad tracking pixel and no tool that records your screen. Website analytics sends Google the public pages you view, unless you turn it off in Privacy choices. It also sends the name of the website that sent you and short campaign labels from the link, so we can see where visits come from. It never sends your contact details, your requests, your saved plans or full web addresses.
BoxNStore also notes, on its own servers, which steps and parts of each page visitors use and how fast pages load, so we can see where people get stuck. It keeps no names, contact details, photos, belongings, search words or anything you type, and we delete it after 30 days. It turns off when you turn website analytics off in Privacy choices, or when your browser sends Global Privacy Control. It also has its own switch there, called Visit steps and timing.
What this site knows about you
Every planning tool here works without an account or a name. A plan you start that way is kept for you and opened by a cookie in this browser, which lasts 30 days.
An account is optional. It needs your name, an email address and a password with at least 8 characters, 1 capital letter, 1 number and 1 symbol. Plans you already started in this browser come with you.
Photos and documents you add stay private. Only you, and a person you send a sharing invite to, can open them.
If website analytics is on, this browser keeps one small cookie for 30 days about how you first found us: the first public page you opened here, the name of the website that sent you, any short campaign labels in the link, and a yes or no for whether you came from an ad click. We never keep the ad click code itself. This goes to the team only if you send a request. The cookie is never sent to Google. Page views, including Find my size and Get started, can count in website analytics; what you send us and your private plans do not. You can turn this off under Privacy choices, and if your browser sends Global Privacy Control, it is already off.
Two things to know. Requests and contact details do not expire on their own, and there is no delete button. To have something removed, ask the team in a support request.
Who is responsible for what
Storage and moving are different businesses. Moving help and hauling are done by a moving partner, a separate business, not by the storage location. Container work is handled by the container team, and every container comes from the seller listed with it.
On Partner service rules, each partner is listed with what it offers.
Nothing on this site takes a payment, so no money moves between these businesses here. A moving help request goes to the moving partner. Only people with partner access can open it and see the phone number or email you gave. The BoxNStore team also gets it by email and in its private follow-up sheet.
