What this site is, and what it will not tell you yet.
This is the Bakersfield Self Storage website, at BoxNStore.com. Two kinds of thing live on it. The planning tools are software, and this page can describe exactly what they do, because you can open them and check. The facility details are business facts, and every one that reaches Locations, Storage rules, Partner service rules or Help comes from a record the owner approved.
What is published right now
No business facts have been approved for publication yet. That is why Locations shows no address or hours, Storage rules shows no policies, and Partner service rules names no partner.
When the owner approves a record it appears on the public page that carries that kind of record, and this section links you to that page.
No price is published on any public page. The only prices on this site are the ones a person writes into an offer or a quote inside your own request.
What happens after you press send
A request here is a message with your context attached. It is not a booking.
It joins a queue the team works from. Its status is one of Waiting for the team, The team is reviewing, Needs your answer and The team responded, and it ends at Closed. Adding an answer of your own puts it back to Waiting for the team.
The answer comes back on this site, in My requests, next to the question you asked, so the two stay together instead of scattering across a thread.
Nothing is held, priced or charged by the request itself. Availability, the actual unit and the price come from the person who answers.
Online booking and payment are not connected yet, so sending a request here cannot reserve a unit and nothing here takes a payment.
No messages leave this site
No email, no text message and no automated call leaves this site. There is no sending provider connected to it.
Your account has notification settings, and every topic starts switched off. When something happens that would be worth telling you about, the site writes the update it would have sent into a log you can read in My account, listing each one by its subject, its channel and its date, marked Held, not sent yet, or Not sent, this topic is off. It keeps an honest record of what it would do rather than pretending it did it.
One thing does leave. If you use Find my size, what you send there is read by a model on the hosting platform during that one request: a photo by an image model, a typed description by a text model. That is how a photo becomes an item list. Neither is written to this site’s database, to its file storage, or to a log.
This site loads no advertising pixel, no third party analytics script and no session recorder. Every script, style and font on these pages is served from this site itself.
What this site knows about you
Every planning tool on this page works without an account and without a name. A plan started that way is kept for you and unlocked by a cookie in this browser, which lasts 30 days.
An account is optional. It takes your name, an email address and a password of at least twelve characters, and the drafts you already started in this browser come with you.
Photos and documents you add stay private. Only you, and a person you explicitly invite with a sharing invitation, can open them.
If measurement is on, this browser keeps one small signed cookie for 30 days recording how you first arrived: the first measured public page you opened, the referring site’s hostname, any short source labels in the address, and whether an advertising click identifier was present. The identifier itself is never kept. That record is copied only if you save a request, never for an ordinary visit, and it is never sent to an advertising or analytics platform. Reading this page counts, because it is one of the public pages measurement covers. Find my size and Get started are public too, and are deliberately never recorded. You can switch measurement off under Privacy choices, and if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal it is already off.
Two limits worth saying out loud. Saved requests and contact details have no automatic expiry, and there is no self-service delete button. You can ask the team about removal in a support request.
Who is responsible for what
Storage space and moving services are not the same business. Moving help and hauling would be done by a service partner, a separate business, not by the storage company. Container work is handled by the container team, and every container product is tied to a container seller the owner approved separately.
On Partner service rules, a partner appears only after the owner approves a record for that partner, and only what that approved record says about it is shown.
Nothing on this site takes a payment, so no money moves between those businesses here. A moving-help request is routed to the partner queue, so the people who can open it, and see the phone number or email address you gave, are the accounts the owner has granted partner access.
The full terms this site can state are on Terms and responsible providers.
